Yesterday I took the time to go for a walk.
This morning I photographed a lovely flower.
Later, I worked up an interpretation.
Stylized for contrast;
the intention is to display

Shoe

Shoe
Photograph by Tom Willa
Before a recent wedding, I was taking friends and family shots when I noticed this shot from the pew I was in. My friends will tell you how much I enjoy shoes, shoe shopping and new shoes. This photos captures a little bit of where that appreciation comes from.

This photo captures my reflections about how long it is taking for summer to arrive in the Northwest. This visitor stopped in the other night to get out of the cold. The wings are a wonderful transparent blue landing on Ms. Bella Beesley toy was too much to resist.

March Lamb

March 29th, this is an early bloomer. The flower has been there for the last couple of weeks. I came home from shooting some real estate the other day, I knew it was time to capture it before it lost its zest. I adjusted the exposure and applied a thirty precent cut out filter to the image. I used my 18-50 mm lens and hit the fstop nicely to capture the detail and blur the background. This would be my March lamb,enjoy!

Well a triangle of images should work. Beside obtaining a wonderful Skeleton Vase for Valentine's Day for Miki. We acquired some tree ornaments and hung them on Valentine's Day,too. The next morning there was a frost, The top photo is about cool, the lower left is about warming up, I tweaked the background warming it up, the right hand side photo is an afternoon shot with no adjustments. I am often inspired by the light at different times during the day this is my snap shot of our weather during the last week. The clear nights are chilly but the blue sky during the days is fun. Where ever you are enjoy the beauty of the moment. Thanks to all of you who have visited driving the counter over 2K

Characteristics of Portraits

Artist Sculpting

I find the characteristics of portraits a topic which entails passion, technique and commitment. Whether it is capturing the intensity of the individual, a reflection of the charisma or the sparkle in the eye I love the beauty of the moment. As a photographer, I seek to share the emotion of my internal thoughts when creating photographs. Less it better.
Here's a new blog by Cyrielle:
