The good news is that Renton River Days begins tomorrow. It was the catalyst to creating the frame for Twilight Daisy. It now has a koa veneer frame with a double mat. The interior mat is a grey green which adds to the visual strenght of the pedal shadows. Please stop by and check it out we will be at Liberty Park this weekend. Good luck with the art show. I live in Illinois so can't make it. Love the daisy. Composition and colors so striking and it has a lot of energy. Though I am more a watercolorist and digital artist, I so admire pastels.
Interesting about the green mat. I stick with neutral creams usually, but find that certain colored mats can enhance the image.
