Soft Pastel on Art Spectrum Color fix

Lupins are another one of my favorite flowers. These beauties pop up a little later then the rhododendrons. I selected a split compliment palette for this painting. I wanted to keep the blossoms and the foliage in contrast, I think the palette helped achieve that end. The foreground details against the background abstract helps draw the focal area to the blossoms,too.
